Jane McKie

Jane McKie, originally from West Sussex, lives in Linlithgow, West Lothian. Her poems have been published in various magazines and anthologies, including New Writing Scotland and Granta’s New Writing Volume 15. Her first collection, Morocco Rococo (Cinnamon Press), was awarded the Sundial / Scottish Arts Council prize for best first book of 2007. She runs a small press, called Knucker Press (www.knuckerpress.com), which brings together writers and artists in books and pamphlets in a way that is mutually illustrative and fulfilling. Jane was awarded the 2011 Edwin Morgan Poetry Prize for her poem Leper Window, St Mary the Virgin.
