Light Fantastic, The

The thirty stories fall into three distinct sections: the first section’s stories are set in South Skye, the home of the ancestral clans; the middle section covers experiences and encounters away from the island; the final section deals with life in the northern peninsula of Trotternish on Skye.

The vernacular Gaelic arises naturally in the stories and the meanings of phrases or words are included in a glossary and basic guide to pronunciation.
