Great things are happening for young Mr Guthrie on the continent at the moment, as the German translation of his second novel, Kiss Her Goodbye, hit the number 2 spot on the German Crime Bestseller list in July.

Following the successful sales of Kiss Her Goodbye, Allan’s German publisher, Rotbuch Verlag, has finalised a major deal for a further three titles, to publish one a year from now until 2010, including his most recent novel, Savage Night. Allan’s books are now available in five foreign languages.
